Understanding Your Body In Pregnancy and How Yoga Can Help
This workshop seeks to give pregnant women, women considering pregnancy, or anyone with a general interest in prenatal yoga, a beginner level understanding of the major changes which occur in the body in each trimester of pregnancy, how this impacts a yoga practice, and how yoga can be used to serve the pregnant woman. There is a strong focus on spinal alignment, breathing, and the pelvic floor as it relates to pregnancy.

Jocelyn Wadhawan has worked as an RN at some of the premier medical institutions across the country in the fields of Labor and Delivery as well as Critical Care. She received both her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training as well as her 85 hr Prenatal Yoga Training here in NYC at Sonic Yoga. Jocelyn now focuses solely on teaching yoga in Manhattan, and she is especially passionate about Prenatal Yoga. Her prenatal yoga classes are designed to help women develop tools that will carry them through their pregnancy, delivery, and beyond.
