Aiming to heal through movement, meditation and sound, Allison Joy Phillips' yoga classes focus on informed alignment, careful attention to breath and skillful engagement of the subtle body and mind. Music is a pivotal part of her instruction with carefully crafted playlists meant to guide practitioners through a revealing internal journey.

Allison Joy completed her 200-hour teacher training under the guidance of Satyavira Matthew Lombardo, Michael Hewett & Lilia Mead via Sarva Yoga Academy in Brooklyn. She spent the following year on an immersive learning adventure in New Orleans at Swan River Yoga. She has studied additional training in Restorative & Therapeutic yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga Nidra meditation, aromatherapy and spinal health through various studios across NYC.
