Our popular Yoga Fundamentals class series is back with Jacquelyn! It's perfect for absolute beginners AND anyone looking to strengthen the foundation of their existing yoga practice.
If you are brand new to yoga, wanting to restart a practice or even just commit yourself to a summer challenge, this 5-week series is for you.
Each week will introduce a new series of yoga poses, teach the fundamentals of healthy, safe alignment, and connect poses with the breath. All classes will end with final relaxation poses and seated meditation.
Each week will build progressively on lessons learned in previous weeks and culminate in a final class that integrates everything learned throughout the series. The full series will prepare absolute beginners to step confidently into any of the Three Jewels Open level classes, and empower intermediate students to take any of our Intermediate/Advanced classes and beyond.
You are encouraged to attend all 5 weeks but dropping in for one class is also welcome.

Jacquelyn has been practicing yoga for 12 years. She received her Yoga Alliance 500 hour certification in March of 2014 through ISHTA yoga (Integrated Science of Tantra, Hatha, and Ayurveda). She was a graduate of Sarva Yoga Academy in 2013 and is a student of the Asian Classics Institute at the Three Jewels where she has been studying Tibetan Buddhism with Hector Marcel since 2012.
Jacquelyn teaches meditation and asana blending the different styles of Hatha yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra, and Tibetan Buddhism, in away that suits the needs of each individual student. She weaves the tools of pranayama, heat building asana postures, meditation and kriyas to bring you into the present moment and allow transformation or purification of the physical and subtle bodies to occur.
She is eternally grateful for all of her teachers: Alan and Sarah Finger, Peter Ferko, Mona Anand, Hector Marcel, Geshe Michael Roach, Venerable Phuntsok, Michael Hewett, Sarah Tomlinson, and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, who have provided the gift of Divine Wisdom. When not doing yoga, you can find Jacquelyn curating an art exhibit or kicking a soccer ball.
