Arm balances and inversions teach us to hone our focus and cultivate our deep inner strength... But strength can be deceiving. Balancing upside-down does not necessarily require chiseled arms or a swollen chest. Rather, the first step to finding stability and lightness in your yoga poses is learning how to manipulate the flow of energy throughout your body.

In this workshop, we will locate and fine tune our awareness of the key bandhas (energetic locks) through meditation and practical exercises. Then, we will put them to use in a series of challenging yet playful arm balances and transitions. You will walk away with tools to achieve sustainable depth and stability in your practice and a knowledge of the gateways to levity.
