Prosperity Yantra Puja

Join Sarah Tomlinson and Ambika to celebrate the Goddess Festival known as Navaratri, Nine Nights of the Goddess, this Fall. There will be an afternoon of creating the Sri Yantra through drawing, filling the shapes with colors and flowers and a beautiful ceremony led by Sarah and Ambika. This is followed by a period of silent meditation and chanting/dancing.

This is a particularly auspicious time for this ritual. We encourage you to join us and receive the blessings. This special ritual brings prosperity and abundance to those who partake. The puja ritual ends with prasad: blessed foods.

Ambika Cooper has been a singer and musician for most of her life, playing in various bands in NYC until she discovered chanting with Krishna Das in 1995. Kirtan had a profound effect on her, and lead her to India where she met her teacher and Spiritual Mother, Shri Siddhi Ma. As Ambika  deepened her connection to the practice of chanting, it became her home and refuge. Recently she has been exploring chants from other faith traditions, working with a program at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

In February 2015, Ambika released a digital single "Metta Chant", produced and recorded by Devadas Labrecque. Her first full-length album, "Mother's Calling", produced by Lily Cushman, is available now on Mantralogy. Visit ambikachant.com for more information.
