What You Get

  • Guide a Weekly Class

Students can set up their own independent weekly class, or participate in private IRL or URL classes at Three Jewels studio.

  • Weekly Lecture

For the first seven Sundays, there are weekly 2-hr lectures on key topics for beginner teachers: foundational practice, how to teach dharma, how to find your X-Factor, how to brand yourself and work on social media, how to guide students to deeper levels of meditation and how to maintain a lifetime mastery of practice.

  • 1:1 Mentor Sessions

Students will work with four different mentors for four different 1:1 feedback sessions. Mentors either attend or listen to a recording of a student’s class and then provide feedback and answer questions about the class in a private meeting.

  • Group Work

After the weekly lecture, students have one week to apply the new tools they have learned to their weekly class and student conversations. The following week, students will share with the group [this is either IRL or URL], dive deeper into the topic with a master class lecture, and then have Q&A on the topic, before the following lecture.

  • Complete Class Plans

For the first 7 weeks, students complete and submit a weekly class plan before they teach. This will be reviewed by the mentor prior to their 1:1 conversations and serves as a key development tool for students to share their plan, what actually happened in the class, and whether or not it met their expectations.
