Fierce Joy Masterclass
This world doesn't always make it easy to be optimistic or joyful, because there's so much to regret, to judge or to be afraid of— even within our own minds. But Tibetan Buddhism teaches that our experiences originate in our own mental habits: letting anxiety run wild, focusing on the negatives, criticizing ourselves, gossiping about others doesn't just affect our mood— it creates a lackluster and heartbreaking world, when we could be in love with everything.

How to Not Go Crazy During Holiday Szn
The holidays are a time machine. In the rest of your life, you might be a high-functioning adult who manages teams, pays rent, and drinks matcha. But the second the holiday pressure hits, it’s easy to regress into a past version of yourself—reactive, moody, and stressed.
Buddhism isn't just for monks in robes; it’s designed for this exact chaos. It’s the tool you use when you need to navigate high-stakes social seasons without losing your cool. In this workshop, we will use classical techniques to stop sliding backward into old habits and instead "hack" the system to jump forward. You’ll learn how to build a "Future Refuge"—an alter ego that is untouched by stress and actually enjoys the party. Expect: classical Buddhist techniques to shift identities, and mini meditation. Join us afterwards for an hour of soup and cozy conversation.

So Jong is an ancient practice of publicly confessing what weighs on your heart and celebrating your successes as a method to expedite spiritual progress. Silent Retreat: Traditional Tibetan Buddhist Retreat Reflections
Silent, solitary retreat is a technique utilized by serious Buddhist practitioners to make immense progress quickly. It includes not speaking or communicating at all with other people, only reciting mantra and practicing meditation multiple times a day: no cell phone, no music, no books, nothing except meditating on the cushion or off the cushion. Join Rachel just after she breaks silence to learn about her experiences in retreat, and get the opportunity to ask her any questions you have about retreat and serious practice. Join us afterwards for an hour of soup and cozy conversation.

Pain Into Power
Um, the world is… not doing great — on a macro-causal level — but also, almost everyone’s got a family issue, health problem, relationship conflict, or job crisis. We blame the internet, COVID, presidents… but the Buddha called this the truth of suffering. There are ancient practices that transmute difficult situations into superpowers. The people that utilized them were called Poison Eaters, because they could turn the most difficult situation into a beautiful one, using the power of their mind. And— we’re not talking about dissociation. Learn one of these techniques and ask questions of Javier, who has been working with these practices for over 15 years. Join us afterwards for an hour of soup and cozy conversation.

Expect to channel the poised energy of a tigress and discover the grace of a cat-like glide as you explore both foundations and playful variations.
All levels are welcome: whether you’re lifting your hips for the first time or refining your glide, you’ll leave with practical tools to float with more strength, clarity, and confidence.

And plus, this workshop will probably have a lot of single people. So, you'll meet them, too. Expect: mini-meditation, practices to add to your daily routine, and meeting new people.
