Intro to Mysore Ashtanga Series

Mysore is a traditional way of learning yoga where you build your physical practice step by step in collaboration with the instructor in real time. You'll learn the first few poses of the Ashtanga Primary Series, and over time you'll be given new postures, gradually building a solid foundation and advancing based on your skill and physical abilities.

You'll learn how to breathe, how long to stay in each pose, and how to move with intention as your practice develops week by week. There's no pressure to keep up with a sequence you don't know, no chasing perfection—just learning how to breathe and trust your own rhythm.

You'll learn how to use your breath as a timer, how to build a practice that actually feels sustainable, and how to develop confidence without forcing.

Mysore is quiet work, slow work, and honest work. Progression happens in collaboration with your teacher, so you don't have to go it alone.
