It can feel like what happened to us as kids, as teens, a few years ago, last year, last month, and even yesterday are rocks tied to our spirit. There is a Tibetan Buddhist cleansing ritual that monks and nuns use to release that feeling every two weeks, and Maya is going to guide you through a public version of it. So Jong is an ancient practice of publicly confessing what weighs on your heart and celebrating your successes as a method to expedite spiritual progress. Expect: mini-meditation, group conversation, and a teaching on purification practices. Join us afterwards for an hour of soup and cozy conversation.
All GOOD SOUP FRIDAYS are donation-based and support our end-of-year fundraiser.
